Routine Maintenance Services

  • Air & Dust Intrusion Service
    • Perform interior air and dust intrusion test.
    • Trace down suspected interior locations and take pictures of areas.
    • Trace down suspected exterior locations and take pictures of areas.
    • Clean and prep areas of concern to be sealed with spray foam.
    • Clean and prep areas that will be sealed with silicon andpaneling.
    • Take pictures of sealed off areas for customer review.
    • Note:  Please see air intrusion book for further details. This service will help reduce loss of coach temp, reduce dust intake while driving and can reduce rodent intrusion.
    • Some coaches will vary in labor time.  If additional time is needed, customer will be contacted for authorization.
  • Awning Topper and Slidout Service
    • Remove vinyl slideout topper awning and inspect for damage.
    • Clean slideout roof surface and vinyl topper awning.
    • Remove slideout sealant at flange joints, seams and reseal with lap sealant.
    • Reinstall and lube slideout topper awning and lube hardware where applicable.
    • Note:  This price is good at shop only.  Requires two technicians and overnight stay for drying time.
  • Battery System Service
    • Clean all battery terminals and connections and seal.
    • Adjust water levels and load test batteries.
    • Inspect battery trays, hold downs, boxes and straps for signs of damage or wear.
    • Check for proper venting and check ducting for those coaches with vented boxes.
    • Test converter for proper voltage.
    • Does not include repair time or diagnosis.
  • Basic Winterization — Suggested prior to winter months
    • Drain fresh water tank and water heater
    • Blow out water lines with compressed air.
    • Open toilet valve to allow air to force out any water.
    • Fill P-traps with anti-freeze, 1 gallon included.
  • Brake Inspection / Wheel Bearing Pack —
    Recommended annyally to prevent bearing & brake failure.

    • Inspect brake shoes, bearings and magnets and hardware
    • Inspect, clean and repack wheel bearings
    • Adjust brake lining as needed
    • Verify the operation of electric brake magnets
    • Grease seals, prices vary by axle size
    • Test operation of break-away switch and brake lights
    • ** Additional shop supplies and taxes may apply.  Some wheel seals vary in price and additional charges may vary depending on axle seal size.
  • Condition/UV Block Slideout Seals
    • Check all slide out seals for signs of damage and wear.
    • Lubricate and treat all exterior slide outs seal material “were accessible”
    • Check mounting plates, under laments material and rollers. (Additional charge for fourth slide out.)
    • Test operation of all slide outs and inspect for signs of leaks.
  • Complete Winterization — Suggested prior to winter months
    • Drain fresh water tank and water heater
    • Blow out water lines with compressed air.
    • Open toilet valve to allow air to force out any water.
    • Fill P-traps with anti-freeze, 2 gallons included.
    • Pump anti-freeze through fresh water lines system.
    • Winterize ice maker supply line and water filter.
  • Electrical  & Charging System Checkup
    • Check all lights interior and exterior.
    • Check monitor panel and connections.
    • Test 110 volt system and GFI.
    • Test converter operation and output.
    • Test inverter operation and output.
    • Check shore cord and circuit breakers.
    • Inspect circuit breakers and fuse box.
    • Test generator operation and output.
    • Inspect battery water level and connections.
    • Inspect 12 volt outlets.
  • Exterior Body Lubrication Service — Prevent problems and failures before they start
    • Lube all compartment doors, strikers and locks.
    • Lube entry door hinges and entry steps.
    • Lube all windo run channels and window cranks.
    • Lube all roof vent cranks and life arms.
    • Lube scissor jacks and manual cracking jacks.
  • Exterior Body Reseal
    • Price depends upon the size of coach and sealant condition.  May take 2-4 days.  Price not based on shop labor rate.  Most coaches require 16-24 hours to reseal start to finish.
    • Trim and scrape off all exterior body joints and seams, compartment doors, windows, exterior lights and all components where there is a hole or penetration through the exterior body were old silicon or putty tape has bled out, cracked or separated.
    • Wipe down with body solvent and prep area for resealing.
    • Apply 100% silicon in white, clear or almond to all accessible areas listed above.
    • Will inspect all insert moldings and rain gutter ends.  Also will attempt to tighten any loose moldings unless water damage has already set in.
    • Includes basic exterior wash
    • Note: There are some areas such as the under sides of main slide out toppers awning molding, window awnings under side seams and main awning under side seams that are not accessible without charging additional labor to seal these areas.
    • Special notes: This will help to prevent water damage to wood joints, interior and exterior panels, prevent mold, and dry rot. It will also make the coach look a lot cleaner. Unsealed joints will attract dirt and will cause joints to bleed out more putty, thus causing them to dry and crack, leaving them with gaps and voids to allow water to enter the coach.
  • Exterior Body Wash
    • Hand wash the exterior vertical body on all four sides.
    • Squeegee all windows and wipe down by hand.
    • Clean wheels and apply tire dressing.
    • Rinse the rubber roof and/or TPO roof material. 
    • (This service does not include scrubbing the roof sealants.)
  • Exterior Light and King Pin Inspection
    • Check bolts on king pin box and damage
    • Inspect operation of rake-a-way system
    • Inspect and test operation of 7 way plug
    • Inspect stop, tail and turn lights operation
    • Inspect clearance lights operation
  • Fifth Landing Leg Service
    • Inspect all hardware and components
    • Clean and lube both inner and outer landing legs
    • Inspect welds and mounting bolts for wear or damage
    • Inspect electrical and manual operation and controls
    • Perform operation test and lube rear scissor jacks
    • ** Requires use of fork lift.  This service cannot be performed in the field.
  • Fresh Water System Service
    • Chlorinate / Sanitize and flush all fresh water lines throughout coach with two part cleaner that kills bacteria and eliminates odors.
    • Clean water pump screen and filters.
    • Test for leaks on hot and cold water sides.
    • Test system throughout where visible.
    • Replace fresh water filters, per customer request.
    • Note:  Customer must purchase water filters separately if replacement is needed or requested.  Please note that this service must be performed at shop only due to time involved.  If requested in the field, additional charge will apply.
  • Furnace Serivce
    • Verify furnace operation and perform temperature test.
    • Clean pilot, burner, orifice, electrode and heat chamber.
    • Check motor and blower wheels for play and debris.
    • Inspect LPG supply and leak test.
    • Check thermostat, cycle unit off and on.
    • Reassemble furnace using new gaskets if needed.
    • Remove nests, bugs, webs, check combustion chamber and casing.
  • Gas Generator Service
    • Change oil and filter
    • Check spark plug and replace as necessary.
    • Check air filter and replace as necessary.
    • Visual inspect of exhaust system.
    • Verify CO detector and operation.
    • Perform load test.
    • Additional shop supplies and taxes may apply.  Parts vary in price and additional charges may vary depending on brand.
    • If needed, generator removal and additional parts will be an extra charge; please see advisor for details.
  • Generator Oil Change – Manufacturers recommend this service every 75 hours of operation or 12 months.
    • Change oil and filter.
    • Service includes required oil and filter.
    • If needed, generator removal and additional parts will be an extra charge; please see advisor for details.
  • Headlight Lens Service  
    • Clean both the driver and passenger headlamp asssemblies.
    • Restore headlights and clear plastic by removing haze and discoloration and treat with plastic UV protectant.
    • Improves driving visibility and performance
  • Hydraulic Leveling System Service
    • Perform visual inspection of lines, connections, rams, pumps, and controls where visible.
    • Inspect welds and check for loose mounting bolts.
    • Inspect and adjust fluid level in reservoir.
    • Test operation and monitor for bleeding down or signs of leaks under pressure.
  • King Pin Inspection
    • Check bolts on king pin box and check for damage.
    • Inspect operation of brake-a-way system.
    • Inspect and test operation of 7 way plug.
    • Inspect stop, tail and turn lights operation.
    • Inspect clearance lights operation.
  • King-Dome/Winegard Satellite Service
    • Clean dome with mild soap and apply rain-x.
    • Inspect dome dish for signs of damage and sealants conditions.
    • Check and tighten coax connections.
    • Verify unit for operational test to check for problems.
    • Run system through diagnostic test
    • Tighten any loose hardware.
  • Landing Legs Service
    • Inspect all hardware and components.
    • Clean and lube both inner and outer landing legs.
    • Inspect welds and mounting bolts for wear or damage.
    • Inspect electrical and manual operation and controls.
    • Perform operation test and lube rear scissor jacks.
    • Note:  Requires use of forklift/shop only.  This service cannot be perfored in the field.
  • LP Gas System Service — Keep your family safe and protected.
    • Perform propane system drop down pressure test.
    • Inspect visible lines, fittings for ware and damage.
    • Inspect regulator operation and pig tail lines.
    • Inspect LPG detectors and check replacement dates.
    • Check tank racks, covers and regulator mounting bolts.
  • Manual Satellite Dish Service
    • Perform visual inspection & test the operation.
    • Lubricate the elevating gear assembly, Lubricate the bearing surface between the rotating gear and housing and the base.
    • Inspect for signs of damage.
    • Check mounting surface and sealants.
    • Check the coax cable connections and electrical connections.
    • Inspect interior hardware and test.
  • Patio Awning Service
    • Clean vinyl awning fabric and all hardware.
    • Lube rafter arms, support arms, threaded adjustment knobs, push and pull handles, bottom brackets and release tabs.
    • Inspect travel locks, casters and all rivets and mounting bolts.
    • ** Does  not include repair time.
  • Pest, Air & Dust Intrusion Service

  • Plumbing System Inspection
    • Basic diagnosis included ** May require additional time.
    • Check all interior faucet operations.
    • Check all visible water lines connections, strainers and P-traps for leaks.
    • Inspect shower and tub sealants.
    • Check toilet operation and condition.
    • Check exterior showers, city water fill, and fresh water fill connections.
    • Check water pump and water filters.
    • Inspect visible holding tanks for leaks and check mounting supports.
    • Check valve gates.
    • Chlorinate/sanitize and flush all fresh water lines throughout coach with two-part cleaner that kills bacteria and eliminate odors.
    • Clean water pump screen and filters.
    • Test for leaks on hot and cold water slides throughout system where visible.
    • Replace fresh water filters, per customer request.
    • ** Customer must purchase water filters separately. If replacement is needed or requested, service must be performed in the shop.  If requested in the field, additional charge will apply.
  • Refrigerator Service
    • NORCOLD OR DOMESTIC
    • Verify refrigerator operation in all modes and overall condition
    • Clean and adjust burner, flue and orifice, check baffle.
    • Inspect roof vent and cover.  Check for proper ventillation.
    • Inspect LPG supply and leak test.
    • Remove nests, bugs, webs, and seal areas as needed.
  • Rain-X / Fog-X Service
    • Clean the exterior front windshields.
    • Clean the interior front windshields.
    • Clean driver side and passenger side interior and exterior windows.
    • Apply RAIN-X to exterior front windshield, exterior side driver and passenger windows.
    • Apply FOG-X to interior front windshield and interior side driver and passenger window.
  • Roof Air Conditioner
    • Verify air conditioner operation.
    • Remove shroud, blow out condenser and drain tube.
    • Check fan blade, and unit overall condition.
    • Remove and clean interior air filter.
    • Check thermostat, cycle unit off and on.
    • Check vent output and perform temperature test.
    • Remove nests, bugs, webs, and debris from unit.
  • Roof Reseal Service
    • (Service price depends on size of roof and roof sealant condition)
    • Removal of old sealant as needed from rubber roof material.
    • Prep surface and reseal with premium grade lap sealant.
    • Includes:  front and rear moldings, all roof vents, plumbing vents, skylights, TV antenna, radio antenna, refrigerator base and cover, ladder stations, roof racks, satellite dish, solar panels, GPS antennas, etc.
    • Service includes 12 tubes of sealants.  If additional sealant is needed, charges will apply.
    • ** This service does NOT include slideouts.  Additional charges will apply if slideout roofs are requested.  Charges will vary depending on whether slideouts have topper covers on them.
    • Special Notes:  Roof sealants need to be cleaned every three months and inspected for leaks per the manufacturers recommendations.  When the dirt collects or sticks to the sealants, they become dirty or black which causes them to dry out, crack, lift and separate at joints and seams, thus causing gaps in the sealants where morning dew and rain can soak in and cause mold, dry rot and interior damage to ceiling panels and walls.
    • Pleas ask about our FREE no charge roof inspection.  If you are unable to climb on the roof, we will be glad to take pictures and show them to you or send them by e-mail.
  • Rubber Roof Preventive Maintenance / UV Treatment Service – Manufacturer recommended annually to prolong life of rubber roof
    • Remove vent lid covers and the refrigerator vent cover to access sealants for cleaning.
    • Perform roof inspection per menu.
    • Clean rubber roof material with specially designed celaning agents.
    • Scrub all rubber roof sealants, allow to air dry, and inspect condition.
    • Apply UV blocker treatment to rubber roof material and sealants.
    • Note:  This service includes basic  exterior body wash.
    • Please note that UV blocker treatment will not be applided to slideout roofs that have slide out toppers.
  • Rubber Roof/TPO Roof UV Treatment
    • Basic exterior wash included.
    • Remove “as needed” any max air covers to access roof vent assemblies.
    • Scrub and clean rubber roof or TPO roof material with “Protect-all” roof cleaner.
    • Scrub all roof seals and allow to air dry.
    • Apply “Protect-all” U.V. Blocker treatment to rubber roof and or TPO material and to roof sealants.
    • Free roof inspection included.
    • (Doesn’t include slide outs roofs with slide toppers covers, additional charges will apply if requested.)
  • Rubber Roof/TPO Sealant Reseal
    • Removal of all old sealant from rubber roof material or TPO roof material. (THIS SERVICEDOES NOT INCLUDE SLIDE OUT ROOFS – ADDITIONAL CHARGES APPLY IF SLIDE OUT ROOFS IS REQUESTED. CHARGE WILL VARY DEPENDING WHETHER OR NOT SLIDE OUT ROOF HAS SLIDE OUT TOPPER AWNING ON THEM.  (Please see slide out topper service)
    • Prep surface and reseal with premium grade Dicor Lap Sealant (white). Service includes 12 tubes of sealants. If additional sealant is needed charges will apply per tube.
    • Includes: front and rear moldings, all roof vents, plumbing vents, skylights, T.V. antenna, radio antenna, refrigerator base and cover, ladder stations, roof racks, side moldings, satellite dish, solar panels, GPS antennas, etc.

    • Remove and replace wiber blades “Truvision Brand”.
    • Top off windshield wiper washer fluid.
    • Inspect windshield wiper motor and linkage.
    • Clean windshield with Windex and test operation.
  • Slideout Bulb Seal Service – Conditioner I  UV Treatment
    • Inspect slideout seals for wear or damage.
    • Apply UV treatment to exterior slideout seals to extend the seal life.  This will reduce wear, tear and repel water.
    • Inspect slideout seams and sealatns.
    • Inspect rollers and hardware.
  • Solar Panel Service
    • Clean solar panels and check for signs of damage
    • Inspect all electrical connections and test charge rates.
    • Check mounting hardware and lap sealants on mounts.
    • Check connection at batteries and clean connections.
    • Test operation and check charge controller.
  • RV Stove/Range Service
    • Verify stove and range operation and condition.
    • Inspect and clean burner, orifice and oven pilot.
    • Check for wear or damage and leak test supply line.
    • Adjust pilot airflow and settings if needed (if applies).
    • Check range top ventilation, lights and fan operation.
    • Check oven door gasket, hinges and control knobs.
    • Test oven temperature.
  • TV Antenna Service — Prolongs the life of our antenna
    • Inspect and perform operation test of TV antenna.
    • Lubricate all gears and check for wear or damage.
    • Check coax connections and and sealants around exterior base.
    • Inspect antenna head, lift arms and power booster connections.
  • Vinyl Patio Awning Service
    • Clean vinyl awning fabric and all hardware with a solution of soapy water. Rinse and allow drying time.
    • Lube rafter arms, support arms, threaded adjustment knobs, push and pull handles, bottom brackets and release tabs.
    • Extend the telescoping arms as far as possible and lube.
    • Inspect travel locks, casters and all rivets and mounting bolts.
  • Vinyl Slide Out Topper Awning and Slide Out Sealant Service
    • Clean both sides of vinyl slide out topper awning and inspect for signs of damage.
    • Clean, remove slide out sealant at flange joint and seal with dicor lap sealant or joint seam sealant tape were needed.
    • Lube any moving slide out topper awning parts where applicable.
    • Inspect for signs of damage to rubber roof or TPO material on slide out roof.
  • Vinyl Window Awning Service
    • Clean vinyl awning fabric and all hardware with a solution of soapy water.
    • Lube all moving parts were needed.
    • Test operation and inspect for any signs of damage or wear.
  • Water Heater Service
    • Verify water heater operation in all modes and overall condition.
    • Clean pilot, igniter and burner assembly.
    • Check and adjust airflow and electrodes.
    • Drain water tank and flush to remove settlements.
    • Inspect drain plug, anode rod and popoff valve.
    • Perform water temperature test to verify t-stat condition.
    • Remove nests, bugs, webs, and seal areas as needed.
  • Wheel Bearing Pack – Recommended annually to prevent bearing and brake failure.  Protect youself and those behind you! 
    • Inspect brake shoes, bearings and magnets.
    • Clean and repack wheel bearings.
    • Adjust brake lining as needed.
    • Verify the operaton of electric brake magnets.

  • Windshield and Driving Glass Treatment
    • Clean windshield, driver and passenger windows and mirrors.
    • Apply Rain-X to exterior glass surface and exterior mirrors. Improves all weather visibility, safety and driving comfort. Also helps to remove frost, ice, salt, mud and bugs.
    • Clean intnerior windshield, driver and passenger windows.
    • Apply Fox-X to interior glass surface.  Helps to reduce interior fogging on windshield and windows.
  • Wiper Blades Service
    • Remove and replace wiper blades –  “Truvision” Brand included
    • Top off windshield wiper washer fluid
    • Inspect windshield wiper motor and linkage
